At first, battery life seemed great. Now, 3/4 weeks later I feel like after 2 - 3 hourss it's drained a lot, and it drains even when the lid is shut. 4 hours and its almost toast. Now, this is doing actual work in Logic Pro X, but still, I was expecting a lot longer.

Anyone else having these issues?

No but get iStat, idle should be around 5w with screen 50% brightness. Anything higher than 5w idle, something is running in the background.

4 hours of intensive work is pretty hard on the battery and equals to 10+ hours of lazy surfing or youtube.
I had dell laptop back in the days and retina MBP13 2012 - both gave me 8 hours of screen time on office apps, but you could easily drain them to 0 in 2.5 hrs under full load.
