Hi guys. I'm always read the forums but never posted anything. I got an M1 last week. When I turned it off yesterday, I saw vertical stretch marks on my screen. I post a picture to describe it better. Does anyone have the same problem? Any clue what's going on?

Thanks
Nacho

False alarm guys. I just asked my wife and she said that she cleaned the screen with the same liquid that use for his glasses. Damn! I tough it was a new staingaite or something. I cleaned with a dry microfiber towel and we're ready to roll.

Never clean you screen with some random glass cleaner. Try to use a lightly damp microfiber towel. Do not go back and forth too much or you take the coating off aka staingate.

I have that very clear, not my wife. I forbid her to touch my computer starting now! :D

Be very very careful about "cleaning" the MacBook screens AT ALL.
They have a sprayed-on anti-glare coating that is VERY fragile and just about anything you do to "clean it" also has the possibility of damaging it!

If there's a little dust on it, just use a soft cloth WITH NO PRESSURE to "dust it off".
If there's something that won't "dust away", use a soft cloth moistened with water and AS LITTLE PRESSURE AS POSSIBLE to dislodge the dirt, then "dust away" to dry.

I get an update for this. It looks like it appears again. I clean without any liquid, only microfiber, disappear but in a few hours appears that marks again :(
