1TB iPad Pro XDR 16GB RAM $1799 + $350 for a Magic Keyboard

1TB MacBook Air 16GB RAM $1649 flat. And runs MacOS but a way inferior Display.

I know I won’t sleep tonight.

Vs. selling my 11” iPad Pro 2018 + Magic Keyboard for $500 and getting a base 12.9” XDR iPad Pro for $1099 -$500 = $600 not bad for a new iPad Pro 12.9”

I'm personally done with Macs until they get serious about matching the display quality of iPads.

Even my 10.5 iPad Pro looks better than any currently available Mac and gets brighter to boot. Better contrast, brightness, refresh rate, etc.

Now that it has mini LED, 1k nit brightness, etc, it's just game over.

Once you have a bright 120hz screen everything else just feels subpar.

I bought the M1 Air and yeah...the screen was a letdown even though it's still nice if you're not used to better. I will use Windows if I absolutely need to code or do something else because at least I can still game, otherwise it's iPad or nothin for me until they merge the two lines better.

But if you don't have Windows or another Mac for certain apps you may need, then it just boils down to whether or not you need apps on a Mac or not.

I’m honestly really torn between the two iPad Pros but I think I’m still leaning towards the 12.9”. I’m really having to debate if it’s going to be able to replace my laptop or not. Most likely I’m still going to end up buying an M2/M2X MBP. (Waiting for ARM v9)
