iPad Pro M2 handwriting issues?

are you having issues with handwriting on the M2 ipad pro?
if yes/no, please show pics/videos and which app & ipad os you are on.

apologies if i typed it incorrectly as it is my 1st post here..

im surprised there isn't a huge number of search results, only this, this & this.
ive contacted apple support & they said to feedback as well.

(i have returned my 12.9 becos found it too huge.)

I have the same issue with my 12.9 inch M2 iPad Pro and it bothered me sooo much as my primary use of iPad is note taking with notability...

I just found out the handwriting issue is SOLVED in iPadOS 16.2 beta 3 which was released yesterday!!! Everything for handwriting on all the apps seems to be normal now like how it is on older iPads. It’s relatively a stable beta and no issues for me with notability and good notes 5 so update now if you don’t wanna wait for another 2-3 weeks!

i was notified of your apple discussions response!
but i have returned the 12.9 today.. & will get the 11 maybe end of next week ish or something not too sure but great to know from you and the other who left comment becos of your update that it works fine.
though i'd be still a lil afraid when i receive the 11 lol.

yes it did bother me completely like how was i supposed to read what im writing when it was to help read notes for exams but it ended up bothering me till i just went back to my 10.5 instead lol.

Yes. The handwriting on the M2 iPP is noticeably different than the M1. Like it is trying to correct more. Funny enough my handwriting looks a lot neater on the M2 because of my slanted writing style. But doesn’t feel as good as the M1. Glad to hear it is going back. I will enjoy the neat look while I can. Lol.

I noticed that notability doesn’t get as hot. Wonder if that has anything to do with this.
