Was thinking of getting the M2 iPad Air knowing that the rumored M3 is about to be announced

The M2 iPad Air is currently at its lowest price of $499 on Amazon. Apple Pencil Pro is also on sale for $99

If the M3 gets announced within the next week, will it push the then older M2 any lower in price or will all stock suddenly disappear?
