Let's look at the delivery dates for iPad Pro 11-inch. Every single configuration has an Express Delivery date of Oct 19 - Oct 26 (or later). This date is too far off to be coming from an Apple Store or U.S. distribution center. This means it is coming directly from Foxconn's iPad factory in Chengdu, China.

How can every configuration give the same extended delivery date? The answer is there is no stock in China. How could there be no stock? Has there been a sudden run on the 11-inch iPad Pro? Of course not. The answer is obvious - Apple isn't stocking them.

Is it possible there is a logistics issue with UPS? No. All 11-inch iPad Pro configurations have the same delivery date, even when ordered from the Apple Store for delivery to Chengdu.

Definitely rumored to have new iPads this month but I can get a 12.9” shipped/delivered by tomorrow in my metro area. The 11” is a delivery of next week like you’re saying though. Of course both are available for in store pickup and that is what I would keep my eye on since Apple stores send back old stock of current models when new ones come out.
