It was so easy to use ApplePay a week after I have been thrilled with my M2 11” iPad Pro I figured it’s worth the investment to get AppleCare+ sure my 2018 iPad Pro survived a few drops from the bed onto tile floor. But that was 4 years of luck. That it survived unscathed.

I guess $550 + $129 for 2 years of complete protection is compelling. For some reason I just feel it was necessary and ironically I never bothered buying AppleCare+ 🍎 on my 2018 iPad Pro.

I did the same. I don’t regret it. The device is a thin device and sometimes I like to use it without a case.

I got AppleCare for my 12.9 and if you’ve followed the smearing, blurring thread on the M2s it will be well worth it if replacing the devices becomes necessary.

I’ve never needed it on any of my devices. I’m very careful with them. I buy AC+ anyway just for that extra peace of mind. Never know when the cat will knock it off the table.

I didn't for my 11" 2018 Pro, but I did for my M2 12.9" Pro on launch day... peace of mind for a couple of years for me. I don't usually on my iPads, but they're getting SO expensive now -- one accident off the couch and I'm out a lot of money.

I didn't because I used my credit card which covers me for an extra year. In the past 10 years of buying iPad's, I have yet to have the need for service.
