Yeah I’ve seen your answer on the other comment of mineI'm not sure what you mean the 14" battery is bad. I can regularly get through an entire workday without plugging in. I don't consider it bad at all given my case use.
Oh my,I suppose that’s what I meant yesHazard a guess you meant to write M2 Pro, instead of M1 in the title?
The battery life of the 14 is the only thing that truly bothers me tbhIf there is only a press release then pretty much what TSE said. Slightly improved CPU performance on N5P, not worth upgrading if you have an M1 Pro. Bigger improvement on GPU performance but doubt that will be very important for most. Still not a gaming machine. A minor spec bump with nothing to write home about.
If Apple was a bit more bold they'd go for a bigger differentiation of the Pro/Max/Ultra line to the standard M2 and build them based on the A16 using N4. Significant performance gains to be had. It would allow for a more impressive launch of the Mac Pro with a M2 Extreme. With the global economic challenges they might not feel the need to push hard.
In either case I'd hope they improved battery life of the 14 inch model to bring it more towards what the other M laptops offer. 4 efficiency cores would help. I would wish for weight reduction but unlikely.
I gotta imagine there will be, simply based on the fact that everything we need or want is more expensive.I just hope there will be no price increase in Europe compared to the current models.
Guess you're right, iPhone 14 PM now costs 15% more than 13 PM, while USA price remained unchanged.I gotta imagine there will be, simply based on the fact that everything we need or want is more expensive.
What I have seen in reviews is that the 14” which has the same power as the 16” being in a smaller case does not have as much battery life as the 16”. The Air being less power hungry also has a longer battery life. However if you were to compare the 14” to any of the Intel-based MBPs it puts them to shame. As @dizmonk mentioned, most people with the 14” report a very satisfactory batter life. As you mention, the battery life is not at all bad, just not the top.Yeah I’ve seen your answer on the other comment of mine
Idk I’ve seen so many comments and review saying that it isn’t good at all tbh . Not that it’s BAD,but that is is far away from the 16 and even air
What are you comparing it to? Is it really worse than what you have now or what you need? The battery life of the 14 is the only thing that truly bothers me tbh
If exchange rates continue to be so unfavorable, I would not be surprised if Apple has to raise prices in the EU and UK.I just hope there will be no price increase in Europe compared to the current models.
