M3 Max 30 core GPU vs. M1 Max 32 core GPU

I realize the M3 Max GPU is probably faster per-core, but is it fast enough to make a drop from 32 cores to 30 cores not just be a lateral move?

Absolutely fast enough to make up for the 6.25% difference in GPU cores. I think the benchmarks are putting the M3 Max's GPU at something like 40% faster than the M1 Max.
