We have been limping along our old 27” iMac and it finally died this week. It seems like the 27” is not going to happen anytime soon. We have resigned to getting the current iMac and living with the smaller screen. It seems like Apple is really pushing all this new AI stuff (good or bad TBD) and making it the future of Apple. It also sounds like the M4 chip will be needed for this. Since we are already in the middle of August any guesses what the odds are for a M4 iMac in Q4 of this year? While I am not convinced with all this new AI stuff I hate to be outdated and behind the power curve right off the bat.

Thanks so much for the reply! I swear I have read something saying M4 but it sounds like I may be completely off on this then. I guess that would open up the door for me to replace it now with the current M3 model versus waiting.

Or an Apple refurbished model which I highly recommend
