If you select the custom engraving option, you won’t have to wait until June for delivery. Launch day delivery and store pickup is readily available. (At least on the 1TB WiFi/cellular that I bought.)

Perhaps an Apple Store Genius Bar worker will get out a Sharpie and with short notice “engrave” the iPad. For those who want engraving I’m glad to hear the lack of delay.
