Since NVIDIA is abusing their monopoly position on the GPU market with the RTX 5000 series, Mac's are starting to look very attractive right now.

Let's hope Tim Cook doesn't observe what is happening on the PC market and jack up the prices of the Mac Studio and MacBook Pro's.

If you think AMD will save the day, Intel is bribing companies like ASUS to not use AMD in their best computers. So AMD is not going to change the situation despite offering superior products to both Intel and NVIDIA (yes, NVIDIA has superior absolute performance, but not at price / performance ratio).

Where do you think these directly compete though? It’s not with gaming so maybe AI?
 
For laptop cpu/gpu, Apple is so good for what it does that no point for them to make new Max every year.
