A Mac store is selling this model iMac (MA878LL/A) with a sale for the tax free holiday here in Tennessee. That model is not the current one.. and is there any major difference I should be aware of between the two? I was originally going to buy this 20" iMac (MB323LL/A), but with this sale I'll have the 24" iMac in this model number (MA878LL/A). Anything wrong with those models?

Entered wrong 24" Model number, my apologies.

After poking around, all that seems to be the difference is that the processor is slightly slower and maybe something with the video card?

Do you know how much the Graphics ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO in the iMac will compare to playing non high end games such as WoW? I'm using a MacBook (2.0GHz) connected to a 24" to play now.. I hope I should see a big step up, no?

Also, the iMac is going for $1499 w/ free printer and student free iPod nano/touch

WoW should play 60fps upwards depending on settings.
for me on 1900x1200 full detail but no AA. 80fps in general. fullscreen glow brings it down a little.

that's so good to hear, on my MacBook I was happy to hit 30fps flying up above the ground. Kinda funny when I heard people complain about getting that. :D

It's all good. :D Posting from my brand new, 24" iMac! :)

Attch, iPhone pic. :p
