Hi! So I have a 10.6.8 (now) computer. Upgraded it from 10.5.8. It is 2009, and have these specifications :

2.53 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo.

Memory 4Go 1067 MHz DDR3

249 Go capacity memory (91.76 free).

Mac Office 2008

So my questions : should I upgrade to Yosemite 10.10.1?

I also want to install VirtualBox Windows 10, to play Path of Exile and League of Legends...

Any tips somebody?

Thanks!!

There are a lot of "should I upgrade to Yosemite" threads on these forums, but what it comes down to is that you should read through the new features on Apple's website and if you find features you'd like to use, upgrade. 10.10.3 is the current version of Yosemite; under no circumstance should you use 10.10.1, even if you have the installer.
Remember that for most people, Yosemite works fine but most users don't come to a forum to say so. Your best bet is to make a complete, bootable backup of your computer, then upgrade yours. If you decide you don't like it, you can revert to the backup.

My recommendation would be to upgrade to OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 rather then 10.10.1. Also I would not recommend running games in a virtual machine, I would recommend a proper install of Windows for Windows only games, that said, League of Legends has a version for Mac :)
