I'm receiving a refurb 27" i3 within the next few days and I wondered if there was a concise list of known probs with the 27" units to checklist once it arrives. Thanks!

I'd recommend not specifically looking for problems. If it doesn't change the way you use the computer, maybe you don't need to know about it. Just inspect it well and if you don't notice it, it won't bother you. If you know to look for it, you will notice it and it will bother you.

This must be your first Apple refurb. :)

There is almost never a problem with their refurbished stock. I've ordered 3 and my 4th arrives tomorrow...they are/were all perfect. Look at it this way: new apple computers go through the QC check once...refurbs have been through it multiple times.

Thanks all. Terrador, I was wondering if you'd received yours yet. I think you ordered the same unit I did. We'll have to compare notes when they arrive. I'm pretty excited to go from a 2006 15" MBP to this.

the only problem might be buyers remorse when the new iMacs come out in a few weeks and the refurbs get even cheaper.

what state are you in?

I ordered the 21.5" model, 3.06Ghz i3. I haven't gotten it yet, but I don't look for problems because I've always had 100% success on these refurbs. I, too, am going from a 15" MBP (2008) and its gonna be fun. Hope you enjoy your new mac! I know I'll enjoy mine.
