Hello

Which resolution and size of external monitor would be suitable to use desktop with an Air, please?

27 inch..? Is it worth considering 4k ..?

Thoughts appreciated!

Thanks

If you asked me a few months ago, I'd say grab whatever fits your budget and size requirements. But now? Nah, definitely go 4K or higher. I didn't think it was that noticeable vs. lower resolution monitors, but now that I upgraded to 4K displays, I can't go back! Plus, a 4K or better display will look much nicer next to the Air screen if you plan to use it open with the display.

Monitor feels like one of the most difficult choices to make around the Mac. They are all a series of compromises - mostly comes down to budget probably.
