What are some websites that review Mac apps? All I can think of are TidBits, Macworld, and a few more individual-style blogs. Are there any less mainstream hidden gems?

I think the individual reviews, by people that actually use the type of app they are reviewing, are the most reliable. Who could expect a single site to know enough about every app to test them properly?

There's a real benefit to professional, talented writers, providing reviews. Pick up an issue of MacWorld from 1990 to see the power of this format. It's sad nothing like it exists anymore.

It's better, in my opinion, to go to specific sites that have some focus on the app area of activity for meaningful reviews.

What do you mean by specific sites? Can you give us some examples?
