.Mac Backup question

If you backup to a drive. Can you restore that backup to a CD w/out dragging the backup to the CD? What I am trying to do is take only somethings from the backup.

Um. Why don't you just do a restore, and then take what you want. Because what you are asking to do is not something that is to be done with a backup.
