i am deciding between a ssd or normal drive. I can get the the ssd for 2768.00 IS that a good deal

that depends. through my work I can get it for $2726, but it's still too much for me, especially at the rate SSD prices will drop in the future. but if you've got the money and you need the speed and the reliability, then I guess it's a good deal vs the HDD.

get the SSD. the 4200rpm HDD is quite slow.
