Hi.

Is there a convenient slot on the mac book for storing the remote? Or do you just have to find a good place to keep it?

Sorry, no slot. If you have a case for your macbook, make sure your remote is stored in a place where it IS NOT TOUCHING the macbook. My remote and laptop kinda melted eachother, even though heat was absent/

Melted each other? Wow that sounds horrible! What do you mean?

Seems very odd - I leave my remote on the MB as it charges, and that's never even come close to happening.

I'm not saying it couldn't happen, but it seems unlikely.

The Incase nylon sleeve I use for my MacBook has a little pocket inside that looks like it was made for the remote. That is where I keep mine.
