Hello All,

I currently have the previous Gen Mac Book Pro 15 with touch bar.
The Latest iPad Pro 11
iPhone XS Max

I love very much the integration of the 3 devices (hands off) seamless copy and paste, airdrop, etc...

What I like as well as the fact the iPad pro can be my entertainment machine and when I use it I am cut off work...

However, I feel it's a trouble to carry the mac + tablet and the cost of upgrading the 2 every 2 years etc... One other hassle is to keep charging two devices all the time, it's annoying...

Do you have a suggestion of what to do?

I've heard the surface is good and could force me to go for all in one laptop + tablet but I will lose the integration between phone + laptop.

What do you think of this?

Would you have some suggestion tips on what direction to take?

Cheers

Drop the iPad. There is too much device overlap between the XS Max, iPad, and MacBook Pro.

Hello,

Thx for ur input, well after a few days using it I am hooked. I used very less my mac book pro.

Here are the reason :

I took 3 flight in the last few days, impossible to put the MacBook Pro on the tray table
At breakfast in hotels or around the pool, the iPad Pro is so convenient.
Going for a meeting I don't even need a briefcase anymore, just take it in my hands with the apple pen and i am set for not taking and sharing ppt.
Back in the hotel, I can watch my movies / Tv series etc... without having the laptop burning my laps.

Seriously this device is amazing. I am just using the MacBook Pro now at the office...

Nice. I really like the iPad Pro but just can’t justify it because of the overlap. I’m a bit of a minimalist. But glad your happy with your purchase!

iPad Pro is definitely getting there... hopefully next gen will have USB-C ports rather than only one.
