hello,

I will be purchasing a Macbook pro at the end of next week.im till debating whether should i get the 7,200rpm disk upgrade.does this disk really give it that much perfomance? thsio will be my jack of all trades mac(gaming, internet, photoshop and hopefully final cut pro.
any advice?

well it depends on ure personal need, i have a macbook, came out on january, and its runing the 5400rmp, with 2gb of ram and its running fine, i mean if u need ure computer to be super fast then get it mines already pretty fast this way

As stated before it depends on you. I can feel the difference in harddrive reading/writing tasks on my 7200 from my gf's 5400. alot. but she doesn't seem to notice *shrug*

So I don't have a definite answer for you on that I guess.

With Photoshop and Final Cut, you'll notice it when exporting. So I'm leaning for 7200.
