Hello everybody. First of all let me thank you in advance for taking the time to read my issue. I have a Macbook pro mid 2015 15 inch A1398. The screen on the mac started flickering to the point it no longer worked. Took the machine to the authorized dealer here in Puerto Rico but due that it had signs of humidity on it because I leave in the mountain, the warranty didn't cover the situation. Thats another story. I was able to connect a HDMI cable and I was using a simple regular monitor to access the computer while I gather the money to fix it. But my issue came when I was connected the computer to a wi-fi signal after so many months of not having service due to the storm that passed, I started the regular update on the OS (Sierra) and when it did the regular re-start on the update is not recognizing the signal of the outside monitor. I have tried all the restart options available (comand+r comand+d etc I don't recall them all right now) to see If I'm able to make the monitor work again but nothing happens. Would love if somebody can give me a tip on how to resolve this if there is a way until I'm able to get another screen for it. Thank you very much in advance.
