Looking to keep my Macbook Pro clean secure and safe, could anyone recommend a free cleaning app? that is safe to use.

onyx to clean. malwarebytes or etrecheck for security. use few downloaded apps, no porn and don't open attachments to emails!

Malwarebytes is all you need. Stay well away from any program that says it will "clean" your Mac. Not needed. Especially avoid "CleanMyMac" ... it has caused many more problems than it fixes. N0. 1 culprit when things go wrong in pro apps such as Final Cut.
