Mac Compatible Hardware VPN Server

Hello,

Any recommendations for a Linksys, Netgear, etc hardware VPN server that is Mac compatible?

Something other than PPTP...

This is for home use, so I can access my network while traveling.
 
The best one I've found so far (we have a dozen of them across our company sites) is the Cisco ASA with AnyConnect (the Cisco SSL client).

Significantly better security than PPTP, and much easier to configure and use than IPSec.
 
I've been reasonably pleased with SonicWall's lower-end offerings. I've installed TZ-200s at most of my client sites and their performance, ease of configuration, and security options have been fine for me. Setting up L2TP VPN connections is pretty painless. L2TP kind of splits the difference between PPTP and IPSec in terms of complexity of setup.

I bought them for well under $400, so they're a viable option for a serious home user.

As a side note, you can also do native IPsec encryption as well.
