Hi Mac experts, a newbie question if you please?

I use Outlook for Mac 2016 on my MBP and would like to keep my contacts in the Mac Contacts application only.
How do I configure Outlook for Mac 2016 to access (read/write) only to the native Mac Contacts application?

Regards, Carl

Unfortunately this is not an option. You can either use the Apple suite, which comprises of Mail, Contacts and Calendar. Or you can use Outlook, which unlike Apple Mail, is a complete PIM solution.

Outlook has other problems as well. Since it doesn't support CardDAV or CalDAV, it is really only suitable for Office365/Outlook.com/Exchange/Gmail email accounts. Another poster called it "a complete PIM solution"... it's really not.
