Has anyone had problems with .Mac corrupting file attachments on out going emails?
I have been sending encrypted email attachments (protected medical information) using PGP software for about 6 months without difficulty. About a month ago, the recipient began to get error messages when trying to decrypt the messages. To make a long story short, the problem appears to be with the outgoing .Mac email service. The problem was localized as follows.
-All PGP software was updated.
-viruses sought-none found
-encrypted messages can be sent via LAN and opened on several Mac / PCs.
- attachments sent via other email services are not corrupted
- attachments received on a .Mac account is not corrupted
Only attachments sent via .Mac are corrupted.

Anyone experience anything similar?

Have you setup a IMAP or a POP account that gets your .Mac mail, and tried to send some mail though .Mac's server. If it doesn't work, I would contact PGP to let them know of the problem, and also contact Apple to let them know also.
