Tried to check my e-mail on my .Mac account (14JULY05 8:21PM PST):

.Mac

And got the following:

Did not receive any response from application. It is possible that the application does not exist, or that the requested url is incorrect.

What gives?

Duff-Man says....works just fine for me. Why is it we seem to get a new thread every time .mac has even the slightest hiccup for someone? ....oh yeah!

I guess people figure that Apple has great servers and shouldn't have problems. There is NO reason why the servers shouldn't be faster than they are.

That's a generic WebObjects error message. Something broke behind the scenes, but only Apple would know what.

THANKS iMeowbot, I appreciate your reply!

I checked it again this morning 15JULY05 11:29 AM PST with the same result.

Anybody else in the SoCal area experiencing the same problem?

Why don't you just use .Mac Support or just call Apple? Think about it, you are asking people who don't work at Apple (well almost everyone) why something isn't working at Apple.

FYI; I'm in SoCal and I just checked my email at mac.com and it's working fine
