Hi everyone!

My Mac is having an issue at the present moment and I'm just looking for advice...

As you'l see on the image below... This happens when I boot up, it then restarts and then goes back to the same screen. Has anyone had the same issue? If so, is it best I take it in to get it repaired, or is there something I can try myself?

Thanks everyone!

Some info regarding your iMac would help.... But looking at the images you posted it appears to be a graphics problem. Maybe a failing GPU. Since all Apple stores are closed for the time being, you may be able to find an authorized Apple Service Repair that's open. Be sure to get an estimate first before repairing. Is your iMac still covered by Apple Care?

Will have to look through paperwork to see if it is still covered... It's almost reaching ten years old now.

Appreciate your time to look at my post.

If your iMac is reaching ten years old, it definitely is no longer covered by an Apple warranty. And it very likely is on Apple's vintage list which means they won't even look at it. You would be better off taking it to an independent repair service that works on Macs. Be sure to get an estimate first.
