Hi,
I have a question about Mac development: is it necessary to become a developer
(i.e. pay an annual fee) in order to be able to build and distribute your own
applications to other Mac users? It souldn't be necessary, but for iPhone
development you need to become an "official" developer (about 90$per year?) in
order to receive the certificates that let you install your own application
even onto your USB-attached iPhone.. so, I prefer to ask you experienced users
;-)
PS: I'm going to buy my first Mac (an MBP) and I hope I will have time to
develop something in the future, so I'm trying to get some information
In
the meanwhile I'm reading Objective-C/Cocoa/Concurrent Programmin Guides, along
with the OSX Snow Leopard Bible which seems to be quite interesting.
