literally... my macbook pro is stuck badly. The windows setup screwed up big time, and it kinda reformatted but not really my hard drive (which i don't mind cause i did the proper backup), and now it won't recognize my install disc 1 or my leopard disc, all it does is ask for the windows cd, but when i put it it reinstalls windows over and over again.
I have a powerbook and tried to reformat through disk utility, but it won't let me, it doesn't give me the option.
So... any suggestions?

uuhm, nevermind it recognized my install disc 1 already.

well it also

had to do with me, truth be told. I figured I could install it without the printed guide and it seems the hard drive wasn't properly partitioned and i never knew, although i do think that was bootcamp's fault. what should i do then?

Bootcamp should allow you to create the necessary partitions. You shouldnt have to be making any partitions by yourself...as far as I know anyway.

your mac is one of many poor beggars who have died trying to install windows.

Funny, installing Windows natively on a Mac has no issues. Wiping OSX away and running only windows works great every time.

Looks like bootcamp install issues if you ask me. Time to call apple and whine about bootcamp if I were you.

You misunderstood. I wasn't talking about computers dying...

Of course I am so enamored of apple hardware design that I will rush out to overspend for an Apple-branded windows only machine. Won't that be nice...

I wasnt talking about the computer dying either. I was talking about the 'install' dying.

While I, on the other hand, was talking about the installer passing on to a better place without windows, or a hotter environment with naught but.
