I have a new Mac Pro which I intended to use for all general business and music sequencing in Logic. I have used the machine for about three weeks, in the last week since attaching a new Phillips Monitor 298P4QJEB I am not able to wake it up. I have tried altering all the settings in energy saver reverting to the original settings but this has made no difference. The only way the machine will wake up is if I reboot the Mac. Obviously this is not good. Can anyone help?

Anything in console around the time of going to sleep or trying to wake up?

Have you had any kernel panics in the log?

Mac Fails to Wake up

The console has a lot of data but when I look at the time going to sleep and awaken these two events were shutdown manually and reboot manually nothing about conflicts with the kernel or other components.
I can see a lot of references to the display parameters before and after the wake, sleep position, possibly as I had previously tried to address the problem through altering the settings.

It seems that this must be a settings issue with energy saving wake up command in this case coming via the wireless keyboard or mouse. The wireless interface that I believe is currently active.
