On my M1 MacBooks (Air and Pro), I've set function keys to be "standard", meaning I press fn to access the Mac functions (screen brightness, etc). This works fine, except for F4, F5, and F6. This surely is related to these functions being reassigned on Apple Silicon Macs.

Would someone mind confirming they observe the same behavior? I can't be the first to see this bug, but a brief search doesn't show anyone else reporting this.

What app are you using to test? Using MacOS built-in accessibility keyboard and also web keyboard testers the function keys behave as expected directly or configured as fn+function keys.

My accessibility keyboard also shows the function keys being correctly configured and as responding to my keypresses. My issue is that the corresponding functions on F4-F6 (spotlight, Siri, DND) are not being triggered when the Mac-assigned functions are configured to require the fn key.

I see what you're saying now about the shortcuts. Confirmed they're broken in both Ventura 13.3.1 (a) and 13.4. Command-space can be used to bring up Spotlight in the meantime.
