I recently just bought a MacBook pro 15" base model and I'm wondering what are the best games for mac?

I've looked on the mac store and steam at games and I just can't decide what to buy so I'm asking for your opinions.

What would you recommend?

Apologies, I like to play games that are suited for pc/mac like strategy games.

I'm interested in civ 5, age of empires 3, football manager etc.

Hope this helps.

Anyone?

AoEIII, Starcraft 2, Civilization V, Football Manager 2012 are all good. Rome Total War is also available on the App Store.

Not many games are available on the Mac though - if you can buy OEM Windows 7 under Boot Camp you can run so much more games with much better performance!

You cannot go wrong with Civ 5. AMAZING game. I'd also recommend looking into The Sims 3 and The Sims Medieval as they are both fun games to play suited around computers and are both great casual games and have some pretty insane mods.
