Mac Help won't stay open!

I just bought a Powerbook G4 wth Tiger (converted from a lifelong PC user). When I try to open the Mac help it pops open for a split second, the life ring appears in the application bar, and then it closes again right away and the life ring disappears. It just started doing this after three days without problems. What the f@%k is going on? Can anyone help?

Did you move ANY files around that were on the machine as you got it?? :eek:
