Considering that I do enjoy the mac mini form factor, the lack of expandability has been rather frustrating... but think if you could...

Create a RAID 0, 1, 5 server with a ton of notebook hard drives which you could insert into a tower just like 3.5 drives?

Add up to 4-8 GB of ram into a tower?

Use 4 PCI/AGP slots to upgrade the graphics card?

etc. etc.

Hmm... I would love an iTower Intel Dual Processor. That would be... sweet!

Of course the Dual Core mini is nice too but upgrading that one is a challenge...

you wouldn't want a core duo in a tower. core duo is a notebook chip. Towers are desktops/servers.

i don't exactly see your point. are you just fantasizing?

the core duo can't have more than 4 GB RAM.

I think he means an Intel-branded processor, either dual core or dual processor, but not necissarily the Core Duo.
