IT department at my work can't figure this out:
My work issued MacBook is connected to the district Active Directory through the employer Network Account Server - I use my AD password to login to my MacBook and anyone else from my work with an AD password can login to my MacBook if they need to.
When I close my Macbook, it goes to sleep.
But when I open the lid, it IMMEDIATELY sends a signal to AD that I've tried entering my password too many times and I get locked out - before I've even attempted to put my password in.
Anyone know what might cause this and how to prevent this?
I'm the only one that has this issue and I'm pretty sure it's because I'm the only one with Monterey (and hoooo-boy do I regret that update!!!)
