Two problems I'm having with Sonoma 14.2 on intel iMac.

First, in Mail I'm using columns in the Inbox and I arrange their position to show all the info such as sender, subject, date/time. And then if returning to the Inbox after I've been in the Sent box, the columns have changed in that they have moved closer together so that the info cannot be properly read. This happens in both the Inbox & Sent box, i.e. no matter which way I am switching back & forth. I tried rebooting and closing the mail app to no avail. This doesn't happen on my mbp running Catalina.

Secondly, when using Facetime and I open a browser window or any window, Facetime stays in front and I have to force the browser window to come to the forefront by moving the Facetime window off the screen. This also doesn't happen on my mbp running Catalina.

Any suggestions to remedy these issues would be appreciated.

For the FaceTime issue, have you tried opening FaceTime, and in the menu bar under the Video menu making sure "Always on top" is unchecked?
For the Mail issue, perhaps someone else knows something but as far as I can tell it is a bug that some people experience and some don't -- sorry to be unhelpful.

Thanks, it was checked. Now why didn't I look there and not just in settings?

Thanks once again.
