Mac Mail not receiving

In Mac Mail, I have multiple gmail emails sending and receiving fine but my one Outlook linked email will send but not receive messages as of yesterday.
In addition to re-entering the correct user and password, I have tried setting it up as new email account on my iMac and still get that same message.

When I go directly to Outlook using the same user and password it works fine and is receiving new messages, so it is something with Mac Mail retrieving them.

(I have also tried turning on/off computer, etc.)

Anything I find online says this should just be working when I input the correct info.

Did you select the "Microsoft Exchange" option when you added the account to Mail?

Thank you it worked! Did they change anything that you know of? I don't recall doing that before.

I think they stopped supporting IMAP connections. I had to do the same thing for my Office 365 account.

Bad for me because in iOS Mail you can't move a message from IMAP account folder to a folder in an Exchange account. Still works in macOS Mail, though.
