It has taken me a while to finally post this, I have had a lot of patience waiting for the issue to iron out but it still hasn't. I have (3) accounts in OS X Mail, (1) Gmail, (1) Exchange school email, and (1) outlook. When I initially set them up they connected fine.

I now notice randomly throughout the day they will go offline and will have a gap before they randomly go back online. This is becoming very frustrating and has delayed some very important email. I would like to note that I never experience this issue within iOS on my iPhone 6, as a matter of fact when Im at my MBP and my mail is showing offline I grab my iPhone since right now that is the only device that is always online with my email. This seems to be dependent of OS X, possibly a security setting I need to adjust within my network settings? Suggestions?

Has anyone else ran into or currently experiencing this issue?

Thanks,
-C

I just started having issues getting my university Google email account to stay connected. I keep getting prompts to enter my password and then it tells me it cannot authenticate it. I have deleted the account and tried to add it a few times and I have been unsuccessful. It says the server is offline. I should add that the same account it working fine on my iPhone 6s. I am frustrated with it today and am going to try to re-add the account again tomorrow. In the meantime, I have to go right to gmail to get that email.

Had issues with outlook.com account going offline. Deleting ans re-adding fixed it.
