Mac Mail Problems

On my MM(Late 2014) I can receive messages from Yahoo, Gmail and Hotmail through the Mac Mail System, however, around a month or so ago I am unable to send-out or respond to any email messages through the Mac Mail System. I am on MAC OS "Sierra".

However, I have been able to send and respond to email messages when I access directly into he Hotmail, Yahoo, gMail websites.

Any thoughts on this problem will be greatly appreciated.

You need to look into SMTP (outgoing) server settings in your Mail app, double-check and re-enter SMTP server names/logins/passwords for all accounts as required. If you only connect to the Internet from home, your can use your Internet Service Provider's SMTP server—but if you connect from various places on laptop, you can only use your email providers' SMTP servers (with proper authentication).
