I just installed Leopard on my 1.83 C2D Mini. At the same time, I also upgraded the HDD, and added 2GB RAM.

I powered everything up, and from the get go, the ran was running at its maximum. Installing Leopard took about two hours. Today, the system performance is horrible. I ran hardware tests and the HDD and RAM both appear to be perfectly fine. Something is clearly wrong with this machine, as it is horribly slow, and the fan sounds like a harrier. I tried looking through goolge and MR, did not come up with anything. Any ideas?

Please disregard. This was a hardware error on my part. Poking around forever, and find it only after I post on here...

Thanks for the quick response!

Can you confirm what it was? The small wire by the front speaker?

Cheers that your problem is solved, anyway!

Yes, the cable in front was the issue. I fat fingered it about halfway in, so it was passing visual inspection on my part.

I consider myself very comfortable taking apart computers, but I guess the mini just got the best of me. I got a 1.83 C2D and threw some stock MPB parts (120GB HDD/2GB RAM) into the Mini when I switched to Leopard. Everything is fantastic now.

Thanks for the help!
