Mac Mini 2009 (3,1) Can I use PC3-10600?

I have a 4GB kit here which is composed of 2x2GB DDR PC3-10600 memory modules. Can I use these to upgrade my 2009 Mac Mini 2.26 Core2 machine (model 3,1)? I know this memory has a faster interface speed than PC3-8500, but will it work?

So long as the RAM has a profile to run at the slower speed, then it will work. They're both DDR3, so it will fit. In short, yes, it should work.
