Hello,

I have a Mac Mini (Late 2009) and I would like to know what the max supported hard drive is for my model. Below are the specs on it.

Intro. October 20, 2009 Disc. June 15, 2010
Order MC239LL/A Model A1283 (EMC 2336)
Family Late 2009 ID Macmini3,1
RAM 4 GB VRAM 256 MB
Storage 320 GB* HDD Optical 8X DL "SuperDrive"

Does anyone know the max size HDD it supports? I would like to put a 1TB or 2TB if possible.

Make sure you upgrade the ram to eight gigs. I doubt if there is a cap on hd size.

Here is some information from the Low End Mac website.
http://lowendmac.com/2014/maximum-hard-drive-size/

Mac OS X Maximum Drive Capacity
  • OS X 10.0-10.1.5, 2 TB maximum volume size
  • OS X 10.2-10.2.8, 8 TB
  • OS X 10.3-10.3.9, 16 TB
  • OS X 10.4 and later, around 8 exabytes (8 million terabytes!)
On to SATA
SATA supports 48-bit addressing, so there is no realistic limitation on drive size.
