Hello, New to the forum and Macs for that matter work in I.T.
I replaced my stock HD from my mini with an SSD HD and love it so far how ever I had to unplug a very small wire to get the old HD out and it looks like it glued to the old HD on one end. Ever since my cooling fan runs at top speed although really cooling my mini. Wondering if this is a temp sensor and do I need to remove it from the old HD and somehow install it back on the MB of the mini to get the fan to slow down? Monitoring the temp which is at 91 F

I don't know about the 2010, but I know my 2009 has that little wire that sticks to the thin narrow side of the hard drive and YES this is a temp sensor. So, I'd advise you to put it back.
