Trying to get this going and am almost there. I don't have the standard mac mini recovery disk so I am missing some drivers. I am looking for the Win7 64-bit drivers for the "Coprocessor" and "SM Bus Controller". Also, the MBA external drive doesn't work under Win7. Device manager gives error 10, can't start driver. I suspect that may be due to the missing SM Bus Controller but don't know for sure.

Can anyone help with either of these issues?

(As to the other drivers, I was able to get the video working by downloading GeForce 320M drivers from the Nvidia site: 260.99_notebook_winvista_win7_64bit_international_whql.exe. This installed by simply executing the file. from the Broadcom site, get the ethernet driver: win_xp_2k3_x64.zip. After unzipping, I used Device Manager, to update the drivers by navigating to the folder with the extracted drivers. Both are now working. Win 7 "Experience Index" reports 5.3.)

you can download the bootcamp drivers off torrents, while normally illegal you legally own them, so why not?

Drivers are in hand, loaded and all is working very well. Really a nice PC for my immediate needs and will eventually turn into a server when the Win 7 requirement is gone.

The external optical drive problem still exists. I suspect this may have to go back to the Apple store since whatever driver mod it needs is probably on a MBA bootcamp driver set.

The external optical disk problem was resolved in the bootcamp 3.2 update, just released. All is working fine now.

How did you get the darn thing to boot the installation CD? For the life of me I cannot install. I am using an external USB DVD burner that is about 4 years old. I can boot from OS X Server that came with the machine as well as OS X Snow Leopard (workstation) retail.

You need to use Boot Camp Assistant. I ran that from SL retail on the other server drive. That sets up the partition map for the Windows partition. Then you'll be instructed to insert the windows disk and away you go.

I have gone through some ordeal attempting an install of 2008 server R2 (x64). I am pretty much in the same spot missing drivers for "Coprocessor" and "SM Bus Controller" as well as for the bluetooth controller. I have used the proper boot camp 3.1 install and 3.2 update.

I am not concerned about the Bluetooth as for my application I would actually prefer it and wifi disabled. I would like to know what that coprocessor and SM Bus Controller devices are, as it would aid in the hunt for drivers. Booting back to OS 10.6.5 and looking at the system profiler hasn't lead to any clues.

Once I get this straight, I want to attempt to kick the whole getup (OS X and Windows partitions over to a Firewire drive. Then I want to used the internals in a RAID-0 for a database server, while running the OS off the firewire.

MacZonie, where did you end up finding the drivers for the "Coprocessor" and "SM Bus Controller"?

Thanks
