I tried a search but didn't find an answer for this.

I have a Mac Mini I bought a couple of months ago (July 2011 model, 2.3 Ghz I5) and am curious if it is possible to add an SSD as opposed to replacing the HD with one. If so, is there someplace I could go for a reference on the process?

Thanks!

There are two options you have. You can disassemble it yourself which is moderately difficult.

You can also send it to OWC and have them do it for $99.

Great!! Thanks! I'll check the links.

I'm used to pulling apart computers. I'm an I.T. guy, but my depth in Macs is not what it is in Wintel PCs. ;)

But I bet you never used a putty knife to take a computer apart before ;)
