I just bought the new mac mini middle model I7 dual core, 2.7 ghz. After a few hours of normal usage, I notice that quite regularly a high-pitched whistling noise emanates from the device and then disappears. I think it most often happens when I am surfing the web, so I began to think it was perhaps the graphic card, but I can't really say what is causing this. The temperatures seem to be within range. GPU and GPU Diode are around 50C. I haven't done any heavy usage yet so I can't really associate an activity with this occasional noise. I did the Pram and smc reset and repaired permissions after doing the Time Machine transfer on startup.
Anybody else experience this or have any guesses.
Thanks
