I recently purchased myself the latest model of Mac Mini (also my first Mac). I have connected it to my router wirelessly and have been having no problems at all when surfing the net etc.

I also have the mini connected wirelessly to my Apple TV. The Apple TV will read my iTunes library from the mini only if the mini has just been connected to my wireless network. If it has been allowed to sit idle for more than a few minutes I cannot connect. This is causing a problem as after watching a movie on the apple Tv I am having to go into the other room and disconnect the mini from my network and then reconnect it in order to watch another movie.

Is there a way that the Internet connection on the mini can be stopped from idling after a period of time?
