Hello,

I wanted to install linux on my Mac Mini 2011 and therefore partitioned my hard drive. To dual boot I have previously installed rEFIt.

But when I restarted, all I got was a white screen.
I have used command-option-r-p to reset the PRAM, and that works.
I've tried booting from usb, recovery mode and network recovery but none of them do anything. All I get is the same blank screen.
I'm not really sure what could cause it. Shouldn't internet recovery work even if my hard drive got corrupt during the partitioning?

Any help appreciated, thanks.

EDIT: I contacted apple and it's a known problem. It tries to boot from the hard drive, but fails. And for some reason you can't boot from anything else to correct it, which is quite stupid. I bought it less than a year ago so they will fix it for free.
